In the world of beach flags, a yellow flag is used for areas where caution is recommended and a red flag indicates dangerous conditions. While this week has enough favorable activity to balance things out, it is definitely not slated for smooth sailing. On Tuesday the emotional Cancer Sun will oppose strict Saturn, the planet of rules and restrictions, and on Sunday it will oppose almighty Pluto, the planet of destruction and transformation. In between and on Thursday, combative Mars and chaos-causing Uranus will face off as they square one another, from the obstinate fixed signs Leo and Taurus. All of this happens during the week that falls between the two current eclipses (on July 2nd and 16th). Helping us navigate these decidedly choppy astrological waters will be a Mercury Mars conjunction on Monday and a Sun Neptune trine on Wednesday. It might help to think of Monday’s Mercury Mars meetup as a time to huddle and plan a clear strategy for the upcoming conditions and Wednesday’s Sun Neptune meeting as a two-way radio dedicated to Divine communication. When those yellow or red flags are raised, preparation coupled with the ability to see unfolding events from a higher perspective can help us chart the optimum course. Best look? The stance, clarity and demeanor of a seasoned ship captain.
