During the next two weeks the retrogrades of Mars, Mercury and Uranus will conclude. Along the way Venus will collaborate with Mars and Saturn, and the Sun will move from Capricorn to Aquarius, where the new Moon will take place on the 21st. Uranus went retrograde on August 24, 2022, Mars on October 30th and Mercury on December 29th. During their retrogrades, the three have given everyone time to mull over short and long range plans,
Over the next two weeks the Sun and Jupiter will move into instigating cardinal signs and Mercury will begin its next retrograde. During the course of 2023, the eclipse cycle and lunar nodes will shift from fixed signs to cardinal. The new year will also see significant sign changes for Saturn and Pluto. No doubt, after two plus years of planets, nodes and eclipses being stuck in those persistent fixed signs, the collective gridlock will begin giving way.
A grand earth trine, Mercury moving beyond the shadow of its recent retrograde and a full Moon in friendly Sagittarius are on the way. Though there are a few bumps in the offing, on the whole, the next two weeks will help us get real work done and launch vacation season 2022. It all gets started under a waxing Virgo Moon in the wee hours of Monday morning.
Mercury and Venus are about to leave the placidity and peace of Taurus and Pisces for outgoing Gemini and audacious Aries. But the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto and the lunar Nodes are going to hang back in the introspective elements of earth and water. Additionally, an atypically unhurried Mercury will cross the shadow of its incoming retrograde on April 26th, and Pluto is slowing down to start its annual retrograde, on the 29th.
If variety is the spice of life, then we’re in for a saucy week. Personal planets Mars and Venus will make their way into progressive Aquarius and social Gemini, Mercury and Neptune will meet up in Pisces, and Jupiter will join forces with Pluto in ambitious Capricorn, adding further reverberations to January’s Saturn Pluto conjunction. On the one hand, the year’s established Capricorn and Pisces patterns are resurfacing. On the other, we are assuredly breaking new ground.
