Forecast Apr 5-11, 2021: Bubbling Up

This week begins with the Moon moving into Aquarius, and it ends with 2021’s new Moon in Aries. As most astrology enthusiasts know, Jupiter and Saturn are presently transiting inventive Aquarius. Those who keep an even closer watch are no doubt aware that the Sun, Mercury and Venus are currently in Aries and Mars is in Gemini. Aries is a fire sign and Aquarius and Gemini are air signs, and fire and air signs have positive polarity. This polarity is described as masculine, yang or outgoing and is shared by six of the twelve signs. When planets travel through signs of the same polarity, yin or yang, they can only create the agreeable conjunctions, trines and sextiles. For example, from Monday through Wednesday, that Aquarius Moon will conjoin Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, trine Mars in Gemini and sextile Mercury, the Sun and Venus in Aries. Similarly, when the Moon enters Aries late Friday night, it will go on to conjoin Mercury, the Sun and Venus, and sextile Saturn, Mars and Jupiter. Incidentally, a Sun Moon conjunction is always the new Moon point, in this case 22 Aries 25. With the exception of the Moon’s Pisces visit from Wednesday through Friday night, all seven of the personal planets, as well as the Moon’s Nodes, will be in those exciting and excitable yang signs. And La Luna won’t be the only body activating impulses.

Venus will form friendly sextiles, to motivated Mars on Tuesday and generous Jupiter on Saturday, and a few hours later Mercury will sextile strict Saturn. While Saturn is often maligned for imposing rules, a heedless and headstrong Mercury (in Aires) may benefit from a yellow light. The week’s red lights are Friday’s Mars square to Neptune and Sunday’s Venus square to Pluto, following the new Moon. This mutable Mars Neptune conflict can manifest in something as simple as a GPS or ride share app failing on the way to a party or something as complicated as the eruption of serious arguments, with zero agreement on basic facts. The Venus and Pluto debacle looks like a knockdown, drag out about money. This battle can take place in personal space or in the political arena, including social media spats and street demonstrations. Either way, it could get ugly. See Saturday’s Mercury Saturn sextile, rinse and repeat. Thus, the best strategy for the week is to grab the gusto right out of the gate, from the visionary Aquarius Moon, and immediately apply it to pet and prized projects through Thursday. Leave wiggle room on Friday or take the day off, and get ready to set new Moon intentions for Sunday. Because Aries starts the astrological wheel, this new Moon sets the year’s tone. Additionally, at the robust 22 degree mark, this one is full of propulsion. Aiming it over that Venus Pluto wall is the best way to avoid the punches Aries is infamous for throwing. And during a week buzzing with electricity and itching for adventure, there’s ample inspiration to launch into the next great frontier.

Forecast Mar 29-Apr 4, 2021: A Note Of Caution

Whatever this past weekend’s full Moon stirred up will take a few days to settle down. Though decidedly lighter than last week’s waxing Moon aspects, there’s a smoldering quality to most of the week’s astrology. That said, the Moon is now waning and several celestial bursts of inspiration are on the way. Most significantly amongst them, on Saturday Mercury will trade the ambiguity of Pisces for the impetuousness of Aries. That bold stroke alone will help us take a fresh look at some new opportunities. But first, Mercury has a meeting with Neptune on Monday. At its best, this Pisces conjunction represents an oceanic point of deep, meditative reflection. In a state of peace and non-attachment, profound insight can emerge. Ideally we’ll just sit with it, allowing visions to unfold. The shadow side of Mercury and Neptune aligning in fluid Pisces is that they are quite capable of creating a lot of confusion or seducing us into dangerous realms of delusion. For example, under this influence, one could be lulled into get rich fantasies and bet his/her stimmy on more GME while ignoring urgent necessities like paying the housing and food bills. As if to save us from ourselves, overnight on Monday the Moon will roll into no-nonsense Scorpio.

Pluto-governed Scorpio presides over life and death. Sometimes the mere thought of complete ruin is enough to snap us right back into reality. This two-day lunar venture will also trip fixed sign triggers, including an opposition from Uranus in down-to-earth, resource-conscious Taurus. If there’s true value in Monday’s work in the imaginal plane, then the Scorpio Moon will assess its validity. Simultaneously, Saturn will sextile Venus on Tuesday and the Sun on Wednesday. Cold, austere Saturn is neither warm nor fuzzy. But in Aquarius, the planet of limitations is more favorably predisposed to the Sun and Venus in audacious Aries. The week’s next reality check arrives late Thursday night when Mercury will sextile Pluto in Saturn-ruled Capricorn. Here living the dream will have to be reconciled with the economic facts. Lightening up moods and outlooks, by then the Moon will have moved into optimistic Sagittarius.

Eternally hopeful Sagittarius is of course astrology’s third fire sign, making this Moon a good companion to the Saturn and Jupiter in keen Aquarius and the Sun and Venus in invigorating Aries. The Jupiter-ruled sign also instills a sense of possibility. Amping up the courage, Mercury will enter Aries on Saturday night, where it will travel with the Sun until April 19th. Together, their live-wire act will banish lethargy, boost zeal and prompt action. But in intrepid Aries, Mercury is ill-equipped to think things through. As if to leave us one last note of caution, the week ends with a Capricorn Moon heading into a conjunction with Pluto. It seems that the intuitive Moon and volcanic Pluto will remind us that all actions have consequences.

Forecast Mar 22-28, 2021: Obstacle Course

This week a sequence of planetary squares and opposition will foment a series of struggles. In the wider context, we are heading into the revelatory force of a full Moon in harmonizing Libra. But before we receive its prized equilibrium and the restoration of peace, we’ll have to work through some serious discord, in one form or another. No matter the modality, cardinal, fixed or mutable, the call for resolution will be constant and pervasive, as conflicts will present themselves in a variety of manners and venues. For example, on Tuesday, the waxing Cancer Moon will battle primordial Pluto while Mercury squares Mars. Pluto has made its way up to 26 degrees of Capricorn. At this incendiary stage, the planet that represents the will to power isn’t messing around. Emotional Cancer feelings will have to be rooted in sound psychological terrain to withstand, let alone win, this war. Another battle front for feelings will be fought under the Mercury Mars square. Mercury is presently drifting through the subjective and imaginary world of Pisces, where its typically razor-sharp mental faculties are subdued, if not impaired. They are being further diluted by Mercury’s impending conjunction with nebulous and sometimes deceptive Neptune on the 29th. Forceful Mars is in objective and intellectual Gemini, one of Mercury’s domiciles. Reconciling the merits of inner and outer realities earlier rather than later this week is a good idea. The Moon’s entrance into Mercury’s other home, logical Virgo, on Thursday night will only rehash hearts versus minds arguments. Mercury and Neptune will oppose the Virgo Moon on Saturday, when its nearly full status will see emotional tides surging.

Amidst the cardinal and mutable sign hostilities, the Moon will visit Leo from Tuesday afternoon through late Thursday evening. There its mettle will we tested by a square from Uranus and an opposition from Saturn on Wednesday and an opposition from Jupiter on Thursday. On the bright side playful, determined Leo will initially receive encouragement from Venus and the Sun in confident Aries, on Tuesday via their trines to the Moon. On the other hand, the sign’s autocratic tendencies, self-centeredness and overindulgence will not be tolerated. The buck stops with Uranus in Taurus, and Aquarius-based Saturn and Jupiter will require consideration of the collective. Another iteration of this “me versus we” conflict will show up on Sunday when the Libra Moon faces direct oppositions from the Aries Sun and Venus. Again, resolving the issues, in this case self versus others, earlier rather than later is advised. This week’s cosmic Battle Royale will culminate under that full Moon in Libra. If the sign of relationships is where we learn to walk the proverbial mile in another man’s shoes, then this week’s configurations can be thought of as a $1,000 shopping spree at a shoe store. At its outset, setting the intention to be more understanding and considerate will go a long way towards smoothing the contentious journey ahead and clearing those obstacles.

Forecast Mar 15-21, 2021: On The Move

This week will see Mercury delve into watery Pisces while the Sun and Venus venture into trailblazing Aries. Monday morning’s upbeat sextile between the budding Aries Moon and optimistic Jupiter sets the tone for a week brimming with productivity and encouragement. Aries is all about bold exploration, and Monday’s Moon will give us a sample of the incoming transits. However, Mercury’s descent into reflective, relaxed Pisces, on the 15th, will subdue some of the ferocity, at least until April 3rd when the Messenger also enters the cardinal fire sign. While the dreamy realms of Pisces aren’t the ideal space for quick, clever Mercury, they may just anchor Aries impulses long enough for us to devise sensible and sustainable goals. On that front, the Moon’s visit to Taurus, from Tuesday morning through early Thursday evening, will steep us in the fixed earth sign’s renowned reliability. In the sign of finance and the material world, the numbers must add up and the books will have to be balanced. Squares to this Taurus Moon from Saturn and Jupiter will come around to suss out any fuzzy math. That said, this brief transit will see the Moon make an extraordinary number of favorable connections, with the Sun, Mercury and Venus and powerhouse planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Underscoring that point about keeping it real, Capricorn-entrenched Pluto will sextile the late Pisces Sun on Tuesday and luxury-loving Venus on Thursday. After rolling up our sleeves and earnestly working on big picture plans, a shift from work to play arrives early Thursday night when the Moon moves into social Gemini. This sets the stage for the Sun’s entrance into Aries on Saturday.

Energetic Mars is the ruler of effervescent Aries. Now in yang-oriented Gemini, the passionate planet is poised to bolster the fires that the Aries Sun, Venus and later Mercury will ignite. Long before making direct contact with them, on April 6th, 13th and 17th, Mars will conjoin the Gemini Moon midday on Friday and trine Saturn on Sunday. Whilest a meeting of malefics Mars and Saturn is generally interpreted with caution, if not outright foreboding, in this case the two are communicating in air signs Gemini and Aquarius and the trine is one of astrology’s most agreeable angles. Under the chatty Gemini Moon, the Sun will officially launch Spring 2021 when it steps into audacious Aries. After all of the festivity, the Moon will slip into sensitive and soothing Cancer on Sunday morning. Two hours later, Venus will emerge from the depths of Pisces and join the Sun in Aries. As those two begin livening up the atmosphere, Mercury will sextile unorthodox Uranus on Sunday afternoon. In Pisces, Mercury can get confused, intoxicated or both, and even in grounded Taurus Uranus is inherently unstable. Any serious notions that these two conjure up will benefit from careful consideration before implementation. On the other hand, in daring Aries the Sun and friendly Venus will welcome all of the fun, frivolity and experimentation that Mercury and Uranus can dream up. We made it through the winter. It’s time to celebrate!

Forecast Mar 8-14, 2021: Life Is But A Dream

If the first two months of 2021 have brought their share of fatigue or a feeling of being burned out, relief is on the way. This week four planets are offering a retreat from all of the electricity that’s been surging from Aquarius and Uranus. Artistic Neptune will make exact conjunctions with the Sun on Wednesday and with Venus on Saturday. In between, the Moon will slip into Pisces on Thursday morning for a two-day rest. In mellow, mutable Pisces, it too will link up with the Sun, Venus and Neptune, before starting its new phase on Saturday, in the deep end of 23 Pisces 04. Translation, it’s time to unplug, relax and reflect. Pisces is astrology’s twelfth sign, making its Sun cycle an ideal time for completion and contemplation. On the horizon, the Sun is preparing to blaze into irrepressible Aries on the 20th, immediately followed by Venus on the 21st. Before all of that dynamism is unleashed, we can access the mythic and mystic realms of metaphysical Pisces. Here, the psychic connections and creative inspiration will be fully flowing from the Neptune-infused Sun, Moon and Venus.

Before getting fully submerged, the Moon will first conjoin other key planets. This includes a meeting with Pluto in pragmatic Capricorn on Monday and conjunctions with Saturn on Tuesday and Jupiter and Mercury on Wednesday in ingenious Aquarius. Those may help us form the correct questions that we wish to posit to the Muses we’re about to meet once the Moon dives into Pisces. From Wednesday into Thursday the planets will begin drawing us away from busyness and hyper-mental stimulation of Aquarius, into the realms of dreams, symbols and magic. In this psychedelic state, we’ll find the ambrosia that is heavenly, possibly addictive and of course, totally imaginary. However, that doesn’t negate the real world value of insights we can glean from automatic writing, meditating or escaping into a book, film or television series during this voyage. Pisces isn’t asking us to make sense of any of it, let alone any major life decisions. Don’t! It simply wants to converse with us in a language that is poetic, spiritual and deeply rooted in the psyche. Mental Mercury will travel through Pisces from March 15th through April 3rd. But that transit may lack the grace and enchantment of this week’s aspects. For one thing, Mars will t-bone it on the 23rd, from Mercury-ruled Gemini. For another, as mentioned the Sun and Venus will leave astral Pisces for assertive Aries shortly after Mercury’s arrival. That having been said, Mercury’s visit, and especially its conjunction to Neptune on the 29th, may drop a few more doses of divination. Lastly, generous Jupiter will bring more groovy guidance when it transits the first decant of Pisces from May 13th – July 28th.

Forecast Mar 1-7, 2021: Out Of The Shadows

Mars’ move into Gemini on Wednesday and Mercury’s conjunction with Jupiter on Thursday are this week’s highlights. But its real cat amongst the pigeons is the seemingly innocuous Moon. La Luna will instigate commotion amongst the fixed and mutable signs beginning on Tuesday night, when she slips into passionate, secretive Scorpio. As their name implies, fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, crave predictability. But when repression is the price of reliability, watch out. An opposition from disruptive Uranus, as well as a series of squares from Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter, threaten to throw even scrupulously stealth Scorpio into turmoil. This volatile tug of war with Uranus puts Scorpio’s love of temptation in direct conflict with Taurus’ inclination for stability. In this matchup, sturdy, steady Taurus is unlikely to contain Scorpio’s destructive tendencies and Uranus’ disorderly imperatives. Meanwhile the planets in Aquarius are poised to expose schisms between private lives and public faces. Scorpio and Aquarius both prize honestly. They just have diverging motives and uses for it. In this case, dissension between psychological interiors and outward appearances will require reconciliation. Softening the blows, and perhaps helping to integrate the Hadean content, this Scorpio Moon will trine Venus, the Sun and Neptune before it heads into mutable Sagittarius on Thursday. Also, the gentle coaxing from Wednesday’s Venus Uranus sextile will encourage cooperation between factions.

But even after the Moon exits the underworld of Scorpio, one’s dark secrets will not yet necessarily be safe. Under this Moon, Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, will exacerbate Mercurial impulses to blurt things out. In part that’s because mischievous and mouthy Mercury will conjoin excessive Jupiter in the erratic air sign of Aquarius on Thursday evening. Concurrently, on Wednesday Mars will have left Taurus for Mercury-ruled, mutable Gemini. Even in these earliest degrees of the chatty air sign, the planet of provocation will make its contribution to information sharing. Right before Mercury and Jupiter get to talking, the red planet will make an exact opposition to the Sagittarius Moon. It is said that the truth will set one free, and freedom is an aspiration shared by Mars, Aquarius and Sagittarius. Leagues beneath all of Thursday’s obvious hubbub, Neptune will cross the shadow of its forthcoming retrograde at 20 Pisces 24. This is a point we will revisit on December 1st. Probing Mars will be in inquisitive Gemini until April 23rd. There it will prod the planets in Pisces and activate the oppositions of the lunar Nodes, presently in Gemini and Sagittarius. The Nodes, similarly to Neptune, speak to a larger mission, while the personal planets bring conversations about ideas and ideals right down to earth. Mutable signs support release and change. The Sun, Venus and Neptune, in receptive, mutable Pisces, have already begun sounding the call for internal wholeness. This week, the introspective Moon may well lay bare the personal bondage that has impeded freedom.

Forecast Feb 22-28, 2021: Into The Mystic

Quietly in the background, the lunar Nodes have been working their mutable magic. Last May, when all of the cardinal sign action was the center of attention, the Nodes stepped away from the fray and slipped into Gemini and Sagittarius. For the past two months, the planetary focus has been on the dogged fixed signs. On one hand, people whose charts have strong mutable sign placements have felt relieved. For Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, the pressure’s been off. On that notorious other hand, the role of the mutable modality is just as essential as those of its counterparts. Where the cardinals thrust and probe and the fixed resolve and sustain, mutables dissolve and prepare. Their capacity to soften is accentuated when Venus is engaged. On Thursday, the planet of love will join the Sun and Neptune in the mutable water sign of Pisces. There, she’ll be on course for her own t-square wtih the lunar Nodes.

To review, the South Node (of the Moon), describes the lessons we’ve mastered and the North the evolutionary path before us. Unlike the planets, the Nodes travel backwards, from 29 degrees to zero. Since late October, the Nodes and Neptune have been in t-square of less than three degrees. When one of the outer planets is active, its impact is experienced more collectively than personally, making the exact nature of its influence difficult to discern. This is particularly true in the case of nebulous, elusive Neptune. But make no mistake, the North Node in Gemini, South in Sag and Neptune in Pisces have been busy, subtly activating the 18-21 points in all of our charts. Presently Neptune is direct. During the next month it will continue pressing ahead, while the Nodes move back to the mid-teen-range. Giving us a more explicit experience, the Sun’s square to the Nodes will be exact on March 5th and Venus’s on the 9th. Mercury will enter Pisces on March 15th, conjoin Neptune on the 21st and square the Nodes on March 25th. But Pisces isn’t about thinking; it’s about sensing. For now, we can explore the its devotional realms through the Sun and Venus. In Pisces, the Sun identifies with the individual self and the greater Self or soul, and in Pisces Venus moves beyond material expression into the mystic. Intrinsically she recognizes, and removes, obstacles. This year she’ll have extra support from the Nodes, with the South urging release and the North pointing the way forward. On March 21st, Venus will leave spiritual Pisces for spirited Aries. Between now and then, her journey will cut to the heart of matters, telling us what stands between us and love while offering to dilute it. Underscoring the mutable point, the Moon will move into Virgo on Friday, expanding our t-square to a grand cross and becoming full early Saturday morning. Working much like a super computer, this full Moon, and later Mercury, can crunch all of the incoming intuitive data and help us apply its wisdom practically.

Forecast Feb 15-21, 2021: Shake It Up

Giving us an immediate hint about its unfolding excitement, this week starts with the waxing Moon in saucy Aries. Headstrong and audacious, the Mars-ruled sign needs to be where the action is. This brief lunar transit is the opening act for the week’s main event, Wednesday’s Saturn square to Uranus. When the planet of tradition is confronted by the planet of rebellion, the exhilaration that began the week is likely jump the shark into another dimension. This one is the first of the three squares that the two powerhouse planets will make during 2021. Those squares are in fact one of the year’s key signatures. Last January, when Saturn and Pluto joined forces, only global news junkies were raising the alarm about the spread of a virus from Wuhan. It took a couple of months for many to associate the pandemic with that now infamous conjunction. Similarly, the 17th might come and go “without incident”. Then again, unpredictable Uranus may make its presence, and the nature of these squares, inescapable. Financial markets, the banking system, real estate and commodities are the most likely venues for expression. But politics, technology and geology/space weather are good candidates, too. In any case, Saturn represents the rules and limits, and Uranus upheaval and chaos. Push is undeniably coming to shove, and even stern, stoic Saturn finds himself in Aquarius, the sign of revolution and freedom. Also on the 17th, the Sun will be in the very late degrees of the electrifying sign.

On Thursday the Sun will slip into flexible, peaceful Pisces, and perhaps turn this week’s volume down a few notches. Pisces is the mutable water sign ruled by Neptune, according to modern astrologers, and by Jupiter according to ancient astrology. Both planets bring an expansive element into the mix. In 2021, Mercury, Venus and Mars will change signs during the Sun’s transit of the twelfth sign, which will begin changing the timbre of the year. These four weeks offer an annual opportunity to swim in the realms of creativity, compassion and spirituality. The shift can feel like drifting off into dreams. That Pisces serenity may be upset by Friday’s Venus square to Mars. With these two, it’s personal. Seeing both sides, from Pisces empathetic and holistic perspective, may be the best elixir for reinstating the sign’s ease. On Saturday Mercury’s retrograde will end, further signaling that smoother times are inbound. The week concludes with the Moon moving into domestic Cancer on Sunday evening. This monthly homecoming instills a sense of abiding security. Finally, a watery overnight trine between the Cancer Moon and young Pisces Sun may be the ticket to some exceptional astral travel.

Forecast Feb 8-14, 2021: Riding The Lightening

The free-wheeling, freedom-loving zest of outlying, original Aquarius will get hyper-active this week when a six-planet super stellium coalesces around Thursday’s new Moon. Throw in a hearty challenge to retrograde Mercury, from a Uranus-emboldened Mars midweek, and the Messenger making three conjunctions to celestial companions, and we are in for one wild week. The action starts on Monday with Mercury’s first conjunction, to the Aquarius Sun. The sparkly, futuristic excitement that this combo would normally deliver is likely to be nullified by a moody, no-nonsense Capricorn Moon, one that will conjoin Pluto at 25 degrees on Tuesday. Support for conservative calls to maintain the status quo might be temporarily bolstered by Mars in obstinate Taurus, while the Moon is in a fellow earth sign. But after the dark Moon moves into airy, trend-setting Aquarius on Tuesday night, it will be on course to square Mars and unorthodox Uranus. That lunar ingress completes the massive Aquarius stellium, a visionary cadre intent on overthrowing all forms of oppression.

Heedless Mars typically gets blamed for all the astrological commotion, but crafty, mischievous Mercury enjoys stirring his own share of celestial pots. On Wednesday, the two are due for a showdown. Mars has been carrying a grudge since January 8th, when the two first squared. Mercury has also been stewing over something. Wednesday’s face-off takes him back to 17 Aqu 43, where he was on January 19th. In review mode since January 30th, he’s been researching the facts and compiling the evidence for the arguments he’s about to make. The most likely outcome of Wednesday’s info war is the exposure of explosive material. When the revelations come, the six planets in Aquarius, along with Mars and Uranus, are likely to agree on one thing, that it’s high time for reform.

Fortifying calls for revolution and innovation, benefics Venus and Jupiter will combine their generous forces on Thursday and usher in the new Moon at 23 Aqu 17. The imaginative, inspirational beams flowing out from this alignment are not to be missed. There hasn’t been an Aquarius stellium this large since early 1962. Under this one, the conversation that the Sun and Mercury attempted to start on Monday will find a receptive and appreciative audience. The high-voltage activity of midweek will continue dialing down in the early hours of Friday, when the Moon moves into mellow Pisces. Mercury’s next meetings, with Venus in the wee hours of Saturday and Jupiter on Sunday, are likely to be the positive, peace-making conjunctions of the week. On Saturday the Moon and Neptune will add more ease to the mix courtesy of their conjunction. Further, in the afterglow of that hookup, even rambunctious Mars will be feeling groovy, when he comes under the influence of poetic Neptune via a tranquilizing sextile. Winding down the week’s lightening rides, Saturn will slide past the shadow point of its 2021 retrograde on Sunday. That retrograde will run from May 23rd to October 10th. Perhaps the shenanigans revealed this week will find meaningful and enduring resolution under Aquarian Saturn’s capable review.

Forecast Feb 1-7, 2021: Higher Love

“Think about it, there must be higher love
Down in the heart or hidden in the stars above
Without it, life is wasted time
Look inside your heart, I’ll look inside mine

Things look so bad everywhere
In this whole world, what is fair?
We walk blind and we try to see
Falling behind in what could be
Bring me a higher love

Steve Winwood

February 2021 may get off to a bumpy start when the Sun squares Mars first thing on Monday morning. A tussle between those two is not exactly the ideal way to begin the week, much less an entire month. However, divine intervention will arrive a few hours later, when affectionate Venus moves into altruistic Aquarius. Joining the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn, Venus will bestow a connection to what might be called the higher heart. The planet of beauty, pleasure and above all, love, is capable of not only changing the week’s tone, but setting a loftier one that will resonate until February 25th. Like a cosmic transmitter, Aquarius will broadcast these Venusian messages of love and the greater good throughout her transit. One one hand, the eleventh sign celebrates uniqueness and individual freedom. On the other, its aspirations are humanitarian and concern groups and communities. From its big picture perspective Venus will ask hearts and minds to consider alternative views. In this context, when fixed sign frays trigger conflicts, Venus, along with her celestial cadre, will clearly distinguish win/win scenarios from win/lose ones. Our willingness to take the high road will meet its first test on Wednesday morning when the Moon enters intense, fixed Scorpio.

It’s one thing to want to be a better person and to do the right thing, and sometimes it’s quite another to honestly navigate the waters of passion. Provocative Scorpio puts us squarely in touch with our feelings and emotional motives, and its waters can be dark, turbulent and downright uncomfortable. Add the tidal nature of the Moon, in this case one being barraged from five Aquarian squares and two oppositions from Taurus, from Wednesday through Friday morning. and emotions could get pretty, well, raw. But this is precisely what we’re being given to work through. After all, Scorpio is astrology’s force of purification. Its regenerative alchemy is here to transform every point of anguish into a beacon of sacred Light. Through their grace under fire square, Venus and this Moon will markedly reveal our options and their likely consequences. We’ll have to choose whether to act from the desires of the smaller self or from the wisdom the larger Self. After the Moon moves into Sagittarius, Venus will strategize with realistic Saturn on Friday night via their conjunction. Advice from sagacious, old Saturn can come in handy on Saturday, when Venus will square Uranus in earth-bound Taurus. Once again, the Aquarian halo will serve Venus, and us, well. Against chaotic Uranus, Venus would ordinarily be outmatched. But as the ruler of Taurus, her advantage comes from knowing every inch of the fixed earth sign’s terrain. With that understanding, she can adeptly locate areas for compromise, production and progress.
