Elizabeth's Oracle

Sun Into Virgo 2014: Power Station

Forecast Jun 15-21, 2020: Making Moves

June 14, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

If you’ve been sitting on the fence for the past month or season, your days of contemplation are numbered. The presence of so many planets in the activating cardinal signs is a cosmic push forward. Spearheading the drive will be none other than Mars.

Forecast Jun 8-14, 2020: Across The Universe

June 7, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

When describing Mars as the servant of two selves, the ego self and the transpersonal self, Jungian analyst Edward Edinger said, “Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity.” This week will be largely shaped by the Sun’s square to Neptune on Thursday, Saturday’s Mars Neptune conjunction and the three-day Pisces Moon bridging those two events.

Forecast Jun 1-7, 2020: Looking For Landmarks

May 31, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

Gemini has a nearly insatiable appetite for the 411. Curious, chatty and always circulating, Gemini is a veritable news hub unto itself. Friday’s full moon and eclipse, now pregnant with revelations, promise to exceed even Gemini’s exorbitant demand for data. Gemini also loves variety. Yet the oncoming barrage of personal planet interactions threatens to exhaust astrology’s effervescent Twins. Those Twins also have quite the reputation for bipolarity, and this week’s alignments will range from nice to nasty. Finally, Gemini rules the nervous system. For Earthlings, moving through the this week, peacefully and coherently, will take some effort.

Forecast May 25-31, 2020: Not Exactly On The Same Page

May 24, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

If you need a definite answer right now or you’re hoping to completely resolve an issue, that’s going to be tricky to impossible this week. Throughout the week, Mercury is making odd connections with Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto and undergoing a sign change. The angles being formed are not particularly harsh. But being astrology’s quincunxes, they pose their own unique challenges.

Forecast May 18-24, 2020: Easy Does It

May 17, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

On the surface, this week’s noteworthy events are a Sun sign change into Gemini and the new Gemini Moon. But the planet to beware of is Neptune. This week the planet of illusions and deception will square Venus and Mercury, and several iterations of these squares are in the works for the next month.

Forecast May 11-17, 2020: An Abundance Of Cautious Optimism

May 10, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

Speaking of the planet of possessions and pleasures, Venus begins her retrograde on May 13th, the same day when Mars moves into Pisces, and that retrograde lasts until June 25th. In addition to finances, Venus represents who and what we love. After being cooped up for the past few months, our desire to reconnect with loved ones or indulge in a little retail therapy or pampering will be particularly strong, especially with Venus in sociable Gemini

Forecast May 4-10, 2020: The House Is A Rockin’

May 2, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

Over the next two weeks, we will be entering a consequential seven-week-period. This is the impactful time frame that I’ve been talking about the economic implications of for over a year. I had no idea that COVID-19 would facilitate the financial challenges that I foresaw, until this past February when news of the impending pandemic began to break. Now is when we’ll see and experience the monetary cost of the virus. To start, this week includes a sign change for the lunar Nodes, a full Moon in Scorpio and the beginning of Saturn’s retrograde. By the end of next week money planets Venus and Jupiter will also be retrograde, and later in June Neptune and Mercury will be retrograde. On June 25th Venus goes direct and on July 1st Saturn re-enters industrious Capricorn, marking the end of the cycle we’re now entering.

Forecast Apr 27-May 3, 2020: Down To Earth & Back To Work

April 23, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

Talkative Mercury enters the tactile and tangible realms of earthy Taurus this week, turning conversations to money, material assets and physical well-being. The planet of communication in fact gets the week started on Monday by leaving impulsive Aries and moving into grounding Taurus. On Tuesday there’s a struggle with Saturn. But a conjunction with game-changing Uranus on Thursday is set to break up any gridlock and to reveal alternative pathways. As astrology’s fixed earth sign, Taurus values what it can see, smell, taste and touch.

Forecast Apr 20-26, 2020: Getting To The Bottom

April 19, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

Taurus is all about taking its sweet time, and this massive planetary pileup is likely to add new, undreamt of dimensions to the term slowdown. Taurus is also the guardian of resources, raw materials and durable goods. Extended shelter in place orders, along with limited and gradual re-openings of selective business sectors, will prolong economic challenges. As I also recently noted, the coming Venus retrograde will be in the sign of Gemini, the sign of lungs, respiration and the nervous system. Venus’s retrograde in Gemini underscores concerns about new COVID outbreaks. Venus is also the ruler of productive, practical Taurus and one of astrology’s money planets.

Forecast Apr 13-19, 2020: Shakeups, Breakups and Wake Ups!

April 12, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

From the most robust territory of the cardinal fire sign, the Aries Sun will square Pluto on Tuesday and Jupiter on Wednesday. Those two are of course presently entrenched in Capricorn, the sign of governments, banking and economic systems. It’s hard to say what will shake out from these confrontations, but it’s fair to say that a whole lot of shaking will be going on
