The good vibrations flowing from Monday’s new Moon will beam throughout most of the workweek. Intensity returns early on Friday morning when the Moon will roll into possessive Scorpio, followed by Venus later that day. Plans to get while the getting is good are favored when organized, detailed Virgo is at the helm, and Monday’s aspects are opening a brief yet auspicious window. Setting the stage for that new Moon, on Monday morning, Mars will trine Pluto and Venus will trine Jupiter. Mars and Pluto are not typically thought of as sources of joy and good fortune. However, in an earth sign trine, the application of their combined power can lead to tremendous success, especially when they meet at 24 degrees. Complementing Mercury-ruled Virgo’s crystal clarity, Venus and Jupiter are in air signs. Officially, it’s these two who are in charge of happiness and good luck. Their meeting will offer a mental boost capable of carrying the confidence to execute plans over the top. The excitement and effervescence they stir up will spill into the Moon’s run through Libra from Tuesday evening to late night Thursday. But before that, the new Virgo Moon, at 14 Virgo 38, will unpack a few more gifts. When the Sun and Moon trine Uranus on Monday afternoon. the surprises coming from astrology’s wild card are likely to be of the pleasant variety. Finally, on Tuesday, the Virgo Moon will trine Pluto and conjoin Mars. Once in Libra, the Moon will trine Saturn and conjoin Mercury on Wednesday and trine Jupiter and conjoin Venus on Thursday. But nothing, even a winning streak, lasts forever. A distinct change in the air is set for early Friday morning when the Moon will move into intense Scorpio.
Being astrology’s sign of passion, death, and other people’s money isn’t an easy gig. When fixed sign tension is added to the cauldron, Scorpio doubles down. If this were only the typical two-day lunar transit, taking a deep breath would probably suffice. But, on Frida afternoon Venus will enter the secretive, nether worlds of fixed, emotional Scorpio, for a four-week-stay. As the Moon squares Saturn and Jupiter and opposes Uranus on Friday and Saturday, so will Venus during the coming weeks. Pluto rules Scorpio, making its domain the ideal spot for stashing all of life’s shadowy stuff. If Venus represents what we love, then Scorpio reveals our emotional responses to being denied it. Herein lies the gold. Acknowledged and carefully managed, envy, impulses to exact revenge and other Scorpio obsessions can be examined and healed. Repressed, they wreak havoc. Aggressive Mars is due for its Scorpio visit from October 30th – December 13th. Venus’s journey through this valley of the shadow is lighting a kinder, gentler path first. Like Mercury’s retrogrades, Scorpio has a way of getting to the truth. Mercury’s next retrograde, while Venus is in Scorpio, suggests that some serious revelations are inbound. Can we handle the truth?
