Gemini has a nearly insatiable appetite for the 411. Curious, chatty and always circulating, Gemini is a veritable news hub unto itself. Friday’s full moon and eclipse, now pregnant with revelations, promise to exceed even Gemini’s exorbitant demand for data. Gemini also loves variety. Yet the oncoming barrage of personal planet interactions threatens to exhaust astrology’s effervescent Twins. Those Twins also have quite the reputation for bipolarity, and this week’s alignments will range from nice to nasty. Finally, Gemini rules the nervous system. For Earthlings, moving through the this week, peacefully and coherently, will take some effort.
The action starts with Tuesday’s Venus square to Mars as Mercury slips into the shadow of its next retrograde at 5 Can 30. Venus is the planet of relationships, and we all know how hot headed Mars can be. With the Red planet in Pisces and under the influence of Neptune, arising arguments could have been festering in the unconscious for aeons or be based entirely upon delusions. Are we separating fact (Gemini) from fiction (Pisces) or silvery tongues (Gemini) from intrinsic truth (Pisces)? As we ponder those riddles, the very next day Venus conjoins the Sun. This is the week’s breath of fresh air, midway point of the Venus retrograde and a showering of good will and clarity. Soak it up, because on Friday the full Moon eclipse at 15 Sag 34 is accompanied by a Mercury sextile to Uranus. Sextiles generally bring friendly connections, and Uranus generally brings Chaos (yes, with a capital “C”). This is the first eclipse of the new Gemini Sagittarius series and the first one under the recent nodal shift into those signs. Emotions run high at full Moons. If fighting, kissing and making up and fighting again has been a pattern, proceed with caution now. We are reaching genuine breaking and end points. Vacillation takes another hit over the weekend when the Sun squares Mars. The week ends under a sobering Capricorn moon. Before going overboard with flying fingers across keyboards, evaluating our big picture needs and intentions is in order. When we can detect the landmarks, the emotional storms being whipped up by mutable pressures and Mercury in Cancer can be directed to a point, and a purpose.
