Elizabeth's Oracle

Forecast Jan 13-19, 2020: Crystal Visions

January 12, 2020 by Elizabeth Pendleton

If the drama of the past few weeks has left you feeling like you could use a retreat, take heart. Following the past week’s eclipse and Saturn Pluto conjunction, this week begins with Venus entering peaceful, spacey Pisces, after a few last solar contacts with Pluto and Saturn Monday morning. From midday Monday through February 7th, when Venus enters excitable Aries, the planet of pleasure will indicate when and where to withdraw from chaos, to rest and rejuvenate our spirits. In addition to the domain of dreams, poetry, symbolic language and holistic living, Pisces shares perspective and spiritual wisdom. So as the world turns and undergoes its conflicts and shakeups and the Sun travels through those potent late degrees of enterprising Capricorn, we have a VIP pass to the cosmos’ best version of a four-star day spa. To journey to it, we need only to sit with a physical book, light a fireplace, put on evocative music or draw an herbal bath. Before settling completely into relaxed Pisces, Venus will sextile electrifying Uranus on Wednesday, and on Thursday mental Mercury will move into Uranus-ruled Aquarius. Being an air sign, and one noted for its rebellious nature, Aquarius can feel a little overstimulating at times, especially when we’re seeking out or immersed in Pisces serenity. But once we’re beyond Mercury’s square to Uranus on Saturday, we can begin blending the loftier qualities of Aquarius into the mix. After all, the Sun enters the futuristic, evolutionary sign on Monday the 20th, where it will be until February 18th. Aquarius is an outlier. Detached from the herd, its original thinking and visionary grasp of science and trends can be applied to problem-solving at a certain level of genius. Aquarius is astrology’s eleventh sign and Pisces its twelve, so both point toward a point of completion and that point’s inherent seeding of the forthcoming cycles. Both also have a keen ability to see and comprehend the bigger picture. So taking time to reflect on life plans and strategies is well supported. This week closes the Cap cycle and opens up new territory for exploration. Be it through applied studies or astral traveling, valuable insights and solutions are being made available.
