This week a sequence of planetary squares and opposition will foment a series of struggles. In the wider context, we are heading into the revelatory force of a full Moon in harmonizing Libra. But before we receive its prized equilibrium and the restoration of peace, we’ll have to work through some serious discord, in one form or another. No matter the modality, cardinal, fixed or mutable, the call for resolution will be constant and pervasive, as conflicts will present themselves in a variety of manners and venues.

Forecast Mar 15-21, 2021: On The Move
This week will see Mercury delve into watery Pisces while the Sun and Venus venture into trailblazing Aries. Monday morning’s upbeat sextile between the budding Aries Moon and optimistic Jupiter sets the tone for a week brimming with productivity and encouragement. Aries is all about bold exploration, and Monday’s Moon will give us a sample of the incoming transits. However, Mercury’s descent into reflective, relaxed Pisces, on the 15th, will subdue some of the ferocity, at least until April 3rd when the Messenger also enters the cardinal fire sign.
Forecast Mar 8-14, 2021: Life Is But A Dream
If the first two months of 2021 have brought their share of fatigue or a feeling of being burned out, relief is on the way. This week four planets are offering a retreat from all of the electricity that’s been surging from Aquarius and Uranus. Artistic Neptune will make exact conjunctions with the Sun on Wednesday and with Venus on Saturday. In between, the Moon will slip into Pisces on Thursday morning for a two-day rest.
Forecast Mar 1-7, 2021: Out Of The Shadows
Mars’ move into Gemini on Wednesday and Mercury’s conjunction with Jupiter on Thursday are this week’s highlights. But its real cat amongst the pigeons is the seemingly innocuous Moon. La Luna will instigate commotion amongst the fixed and mutable signs beginning on Tuesday night, when she slips into passionate, secretive Scorpio.
Forecast Feb 22-28, 2021: Into The Mystic
Quietly in the background, the lunar Nodes have been working their mutable magic. Last May, when all of the cardinal sign action was the center of attention, the Nodes stepped away from the fray and slipped into Gemini and Sagittarius. For the past two months, the planetary focus has been on the dogged fixed signs. On one hand, people whose charts have strong mutable sign placements have felt relieved. For Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, the pressure’s been off. On that notorious other hand, the role of the mutable modality is just as essential as those of its counterparts. Where the cardinals thrust and probe and the fixed resolve and sustain, mutables dissolve and prepare. Their capacity to soften is accentuated when Venus is engaged.
